Our Advisors

Our Advisors are trusted leaders who help guide the long-term direction of Leaders of Today. They offer insight, experience, and support to strengthen our programs and help the organization continue to grow. Advisors serve as a sounding board for the Executive Director and Board, providing perspective that keeps Leaders of Today mission-focused and moving forward.

Alumni President

Our Alumni President leads and supports the network of past Leaders of Today participants. They help keep alumni connected, engaged, and involved in the mission. The Alumni President works with the Executive Director and Board to plan alumni events, encourage continued leadership growth, and strengthen the community of students who have been part of Leaders of Today.

Garnell

Garnell serves as the IT Director and an advisor for Leaders of Today. He is currently a junior at Hilliard Bradley High School, where he competes in Track & Field. Garnell is also a co-founder of ScholarNest, a nonprofit organization.

Co-Program Lead

Our Co-Program Leads help guide and support the programs that make Leaders of Today special. They work alongside our team to plan activities, assist with curriculum, and help create meaningful experiences for students. Co-Program Leads support communication, logistics, and event preparation, and they help make sure every program runs smoothly and stays focused on developing student leaders. Their goal is simple: help students grow, feel supported, and succeed throughout their time in Leaders of Today.

Jade Cessna

Jade Cessna is a certified career coach, speaker, and author passionate about helping young adults take confident steps toward their purpose. As the oldest of 13 siblings and cousins, mentorship has always been second nature. In 2024, she published her debut book, Dreamer to Doer, and continues to guide students through career planning, life transitions, and personal growth. Jade’s work aligns closely with the mission of Leaders of Today — equipping the next generation to lead right where they are.
